I had a small shed that needed a new roof. Matt was very helpful in discussing the condition of the shed and what needed to be done. He made a number of suggestions and was able to fit me into his work schedule quickly. He gave me a very fair price for the work. The roofers were on time and when additional materials were needed, he contacted me and proceeded with the work. All materials were cleared away and the grounds cleaned of any nails and small debris. The work was excellent.

Matt and his crew are friendly, professional, reasonable and most of all very capable and accommodating. They demolished a shed/garage due to a fallen tree and had the shed replaced in a very timely manner and it looks better than before. They did all the correspondence with the insurance company and got additional money for the project. VERY SATISFIED and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

AC Matthews was a wonderful company to work with. We needed a new roof and their inspector found wind damage and worked with our homeowners insurance to get our new roof covered. The construction of the roof itself was so well done and professional.We also had a solar company we were working with and AC Matthews coordinated with them and we’re happy to use our preferred solar contractor.I highly recommend them!

This contractor was a breath of fresh air. Was very professional, on time, honest and trustworthy. They did what they said they were going to do. They dealt with the insurance company and took care of most of the project. They were super quick and efficient. Would recommend for your next project and also will be continuing using them in the future.

After a recent wind storm in the area, some of my siding decided to try and join in on the fun. I wasn't too sure on who to contact, but was recommended to AC Matthew's. Matt with AC Matthew's was quick to respond to my calls/texts and was out the next day to look over damages. He spotted the problem quickly and was truthful on what exactly the problem was. Matt got the work done in a respectable and timely manner. 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend! Thanks Matt!

I can't say enough good about this company, very professional in their approach, and pricing, they went above and beyond for us, we were able to get our whole house siding replaced, and new roof and gutters, soffits, and metal wrap, they even threw in pediment gables to finish the theme...so very happy with their service and would recommend to anyone...they are the best!!

We moved into our house in the summer of 2020. Every week a different roofing company knocked on the door wanting to replace the roof. They were all pushy and told me to ask my husband's permission. Every interaction left me annoyed and disgusted that I stopped answering the door. All I could do was hope that the roof was fine.One day Matthew was walking up to the house as I was leaving to take the dogs for a walk. There was no way I could avoid it and I braced for another icky interaction. From that first moment, Matthew was significantly different from the other roofers in the best possible way. He was informative and kind. He thoroughly explained why we had so many roofers knocking on the door and why having discontinued shingles could be a disaster waiting to happen.We had just had another severe storm and when he took a closer look at the roof, he identified several places where the shingles had failed. Matthew gave me all the information and strongly suggested I contact our home insurance. By the end of the day, the insurance company had fully agreed with Matthew's diagnosis and they scheduled the replacement.Replacing the roof was so easy and painless. Matthew was here explaining every step of the process. The crew was amazing. Their pride in their work was evident from the moment they stepped on site and they thoroughly cleaned up after everything was finished. They also get extra bonus points in my book for having several women on the crew.If you need any work on your roof, I wholeheartedly recommend AC Matthews!

I called AC Matthews Roofing & Exteriors on Sunday, May 21,2023. I expected to get a voicemail or an answering service. Instead, Matthew answered. He listened patiently while I explained the issue I was having. I sent him photos of my problem and he scheduled to come out 2 days later, Tuesday, May 23. Matthew text with an ETA. He arrived promptly. He went straight to diagnosing the issues. He actually got on a ladder & went up on my roof, none of the others had done that. He took several photos, pointing out 2 issues that I was not aware of & offered suggestions to remedy them. He assured me they would be available if need be. The customer service was outstanding. Once I get the main issue resolved, I will be calling him for my roof work. Thank you so much, Matthew!

We had AC Matthews replace our roof, and install new gutters and soffits. The service they provided was exceptional. Everything from the initial inspection of our old roof, measurements for the work, contract paperwork, product selections, and the work itself was done on-time and on our schedule. The roofing and gutter/soffit work was done separately, and in both cases, the work crews worked a very extended day to make sure that when they left, their job was complete. Matt was very helpful in helping us understand what insurance would cover, and took the lead in negotiating with them to clarify our Maryland/County building requirements. We are EXTREMELY happy with the work that was done and would highly recommend AC Matthews for any roofing needs.

Excellent work, great product, and super nice crew and crew chief, Martha. Matthew’s crew removed our over 50 year old cedar shake roof turned to moss roof and replaced it with the EcoStar synthetic blended cedar shakes. It is the perfect replacement for our traditional home!We absolutely love it and appreciate so much the reasonable price. The gutters and downspouts replacement was scheduled at our convenience to allow us time to replace and paint the facia boards. Check out the pictures of an awesome job. Thank you so very much!
